    I use short levers because I only use 1 or two fingers for shifting and braking, I like the way they look and they make me happy inside. And that's what it's all about folks...feeling happy inside.

    Again, I know what you mean @Lozzy they do look good which is why I’m undecided - i need to get some miles on them to reach a final decision (I have mentioned previously that I have issues) :rolleyes:

    I don't think they have any benefit other than looking better in some people's opinion.......not mine. They can't offer any better stopping power as they are shorter and cannot offer as much leverage, that's just basic science!

    You don't see any short levers on moto gp bikes do you? Ask yourself why ........because they are for aesthetic purposes only!;)

    Gee @Boothman. Yours are really short. I couldn't handle that at all. Fortunately, you can just bung on your standard ones to make the best comparison!

    I'd previously said mine are short, but after seeing yours I'm not so sure. There is a convoluted master cylinder arrangement on this thing:

    Yep, I guess it's just a sharper bend angle than I'm used to with the Blades.

    [QUOTE="nigelrb, post: 474560, :).

    Very coincidentally, the aprilia I've just scored does have shorties. I'm not too keen on them, but I will have to adapt because they're ASVs. I would be a nut case to take those off!

    Out of interest Nigel why’s that? If it had brembo’s or Harris I could understand it more.

    If you're asking why I would be a nut case to take them off, it is because I believe that ASVs (and Pazzos) are highly-rated aftermarket levers. Perhaps it's a naive opinion, but many speak highly of them which perhaps supports why they're nearly 200 quid per pair. I was given the standard alloys with the bike, but will leave the ASVs on, if only because they're black!;)

    I've had spazzo from China on my old bikes, and currently got asv on my blade, must admit apart from the adjustability of asv I can't feel a difference in them whilst riding. Obviously shorter than stock ones but don't feel harder to pull in. Never managed break one and just got a pair for on my dad's latest motor,

    They even taped up the brake lever spindle, when I first sore it I thought what a pig this is going to be but on close inspection it was very well masked up, took some cutting off

    They look good with the black frame. Did you buy them just for that reason, or were the silvers all scratched?
