They are contracted with Dorna until the end of the 2026 season. The new 850cc engines start in 2027.
I did genuinely mean 2027 season, that was a typo......but I'll hold my hands up to the 800cc quote, I thought they were!! I still can't see them continuing into 2026 though, contract or no contract!! Contracts get broken for fun in moto gp!
Suzuki were also contracted for a few years when they pulled the plug. Never understood KTM being in MotoGP when they haven't had a superbike since the RC8.

A good team to go to. Will be interesting to see how he performs against other Yam riders, and should show how the top riders in WSBK compare to MotoGP.
There's no doubt about it hes a proper talent but hes not up against the best in the world at the moment is he! The idea seems to be he'll have a jump start on the Pirelli tyres and when the rule changes come in it might level the playing field out!!
