Anybody use this? I know it sounds stupid but any tips on application or just slap it on, rub it in?

Just apply it all over the chain, no elbow grease required, and use a tooth brush for the bits the applicator wont reach.
I used it once, but didn't like it because it picks up all the crap, although I can see it lasting a while between lubes, if you're not bothered about how the chain looks.

    Sounds shite lol.

Only bought it as i was looking over a race bike a few weeks ago and it had the paste on and I thought thats a good idea as im always spraying lube all over the place.

Cant beat that S-Doc 100 white it seems!

Haven't heard of that, though just looked on eBay. I bought 'Wurth' on Lozzy's recommendation and found it good so far - less fling than WD 40 Chain Lube.

Was told by a salesman it’s better on off-road bikes so I didn’t bother

I was thinking i could use it on the mx bike as normal lube lasts seconds plus the chain has no o rings etc so might help.

C5 is messy as hell, coverage is not too hot either, attracts grit like no other!, becomes a grinding paste in no time.
Used it for short while then ditched it ,I only have it now to lube pins of the connecting rivet when fitting a chain.

If you did use it on a non sealed chain it would need to warm/hot to allow it to creep into the the roller/pins

I hadn't seen that test. Very good means of analysis.

Now, I'm going to mix some blue glitter with my Wurth for added bling effect!:cool:
