Another very recent addition to the bike is an “MRA XCSA Sport X-creen add on”, which is basically a fully adjustable extension to the current windscreen. The attached photos show the fitted product. I replaced the stock screen with an MRA double-bubble year’s ago but still found that on motorways I was having to lay flat on the tank to avoid the windblast. I’m 6’2” which is probably the cause of this and I decided it was worth trying this device. I accept it doesn’t bolster the good looks of the bike, but I don’t find it ugly either. Plus, it’s very easy to fold down out of view if I don’t plan to ride dual carriageways and/or motorways. If I were using the bike for the track I’d not have bothered, but because I use this bike to commute and have used it to tour Europe, I think it’s a worthy addition as it makes one hell of a difference at speed.
