Well I've finally got to test the full k-tech set up I've invested in over winter K-tech fork springs valves and seals etc and a 35DDs pro rear shock. Havent had chance to give it a serious thrashing yet but even over speed bumps it feels so different, also hit a pot holed section while roundabout surfing and it was like it wasn't there........can't wait to get it on the track and for all this fecking salt to disappear. The shear amount of settings is mind boggling 32 each for comp and rebound alone and one click is actually perceptable. 20 clicks on preload. whatever length you want for ride height Not shure what the bypass valve funtion is that has 16 settings .......could someone explain how it works to me as the owners manual doesn't say much at all. cheers
Sounds great, any suspension upgrade is a thousand times better than standard on the blade. I felt that the rear shock was more like a toy than a real unit. I have just gone the Ohlins route and have a Moto Gp unit on the rear and it makes the bike feely like I am on a carpet of air, I feel nothing now and the bike turns in much faster than ever before, also it is a lot less tiring to ride I noticed last sunday after riding some 230 miles and it felt like 60 ish!! I have not fully set up my rear shock yet as I have my cartridge kit being fitted this Thursday and then I can have a real play this weekend.
