Hi just bought myself a 2008 blade and I'm really impressed ! Sold the gsxr and thought I'd have a change a buy one. Lovely bike so far and accommodating to a slightly more mature rider so to say.
Ive got to be honest riding the bike for the first time today seemed a little easier on the body which all boads well and hopefully cuts down on the stretching and pilates lol
Welcome. I agree re. position. I've got a GSXR600 (albeit a 2001 model) that feels way more aggressive in position
Thanks for welcomes people. I'm a little concerned after looking at the drive chain tonight, as it looks like it's nearly at its full adjustment which is a little disconcerting because the previous owner changed it last July and it's only done just about a 1000 miles which is a joke unless he had it adjusted incorrectly once he fitted the new one. Any ideas what or why it has performed so badly ?
Welcome bish. If you’ve got chain issues. Fit a new chain and a scottoiler at the same time. The buggers almost last forever.
Welcome. They might have replaced it with a chain with too many links? Depending what chain you go for you you cant always get the correct length so buy longer and remove links to suit.
