Decided on a new helmet, and ended up with another Xr1100 as I can't fault it.

    Went for this design

Currently on offer for £250 from the Sportsbikeshop.

How much are the xr1100 now, I have mine 18 months now , and love it , But its difficult to move to a different brand of helmet when you buy a couple of visors and pinlock inserts. visors and pinlocks are expensive.

    Just saw 250, Thanks

It's a great lid mate, and as said I've already had another XR1100 for 4 years and can't fault it in any way.
I had the Raid 2 before it and although it is very slightly louder than that, it is way more comfortable and stable when riding (I used to get some buffeting with the Raid 2).

Ya I agree with the lads, I upgraded from the xr1000, It's a revelation, a great big view compared to the previous letter box view, the pinlock is amazing , no fogging up. nice and light. Removable interior, so it can be washed and then smells and feels like new again Custom fit is available because different sized cheek pads can be bought ( I have fitted 37mm in my size M instead of 35mm standard) . vents that actually work. Deep ear wells that communication system can fit nicely.

I nearly bought an XR-1100 till I saw the GT-Air... I do like the Shoei fit though. Nothing else is quite like it for my head. Although it's always a hassle trying to find the right on in an XL...

But does anyone make an active noise cancelling set of earphones that fit the recess in a Shoei helmet?

Another XR1100 convert here. Quieter and feels better at speed than my Qwest did.

Got this design because it was cheap at the time.
