Very happy to be part of the forum and especially to be part of it with my new machine . Sold my RSV Factory to get into my new bike, looking forward to getting some summer miles in! Live West Coast of Scotland, so not expecting too much sunshine
Thanks folks. Looking forward to keeping up with what goes on on the forum and maybe finding a cheeky mod or two
Welcome m8, enjoy the new blade If came with normal OEM Bridgestone S20's you should be ok. they work well in cold & wet
Welcome Chris........ Great choice for a new bike and in the right colour too......... Welcome to the club I know exactly how your feeling....... I've had mine for four weeks now, so know the excitement they bring. LOL I've just clocked up almost 600 miles and it goes in for it's first service on Friday, then I can open it up. It's so painful running in a 1ltr bike, but I resisted the temptation to open it up as there's no way ill be able to afford another new bike for quite a few years. Coming from a 2011 blade the most noticeable difference is the better suspension and the engine seems much smoother at low to mid rpm....... haven't tried the high rpm yet. Did you go for the ABS or Non ABS ????
Hi Mazzy, the bike seems to have come with Dunlop Qualifier 2's. So far they seem pretty grippy, time and some cold wet weather (which I'm sure we'll get!) will tell I suppose Hi JimGreen, nice bike mate, good colour too! Ive just clocked up 150 miles, painfully taking it easy just like yourself, crikey it's hard to do eh? I went for the non ABS model as I heard conflicting reports about the ABS and I noticed it was 11kg heavier, that put me off a bit! I like your helmet; I've the same helmet only in carbon fibre, but I like your colour . I've come from an Aprilia RSV Factory model. Cracking bike, very stiff (full Ohlins), long stretch to the bars and a wee bit top heavy, big V Twin old school super bike I suppose. CBR is way different to ride, much easier to just get on and ride I reckon and feels like it's gonna fly when its wound on
