hi guys Newbie on the forum heres a quick introduction Ok well just sold my 09 R1 had it from new first big banger put 20k miles on it over 4 years and thought well time for a change so was a toss up between a blade or a gixer (wanted to get back to a straight inline 4) so put a deposit on a 09 gixer with 3k miles on it but after going into dealers to pay remaining balance guy was busy with another customer so thought ill check bike over again and noticed a hair line crack in the top nose cone just next to the mirror told dealer about it and he said no problem we will get a new one and will only charge you cost price for it WTF so I told him no way and to shove the bike were the sun don't shine and got my deposit back. Anyway money burning a hole in my pocket I started scouring the net and found a 09 HRC blade with only 1600 miles on it thought this is to good to be true but all paperwork checks out mots/ ect bikes like its just come out of the showroom only problem now is I have just made the winter even longer a lovely new bike sitting in the garage and wont be used for about 4 months just purchase a new racefit black edition can and rear hugger (wife already threatened divorce if I spend anymore on it) lol. already gained from the forum workshop manual and diy videos so well chuffed and look forward to speaking you guys on a regular basis and maybe even meeting a few of you. Welcome to the forum, a good bunch of guys but they do get a little 'anti' if they don't get their fix of daily new blade pictures to look at There's loads of meets and ride outs happen in any dry weather above 10 degrees so just tip up and say hello.
