    Hi all - just bought 2014 RR, can't wait to try it out... hoping to do a lot of trackdays on it so will be asking for help on making the bike light and fitting track fairings etc.

    Honda CBR1000RR SP 14  1.jpg mine been delivered next week, same as this apart from I don't have abs and has Battleaxe tyres!!

    Excellent choice. There is just so much appeal to the HRC bikes. Aside from them being the fastest model in the range, they just ooze street appeal and hold a good resale value. Judging from what I've read in other threads, you've done well to be 'ABSless'.;)

    Thank you Nigel, yes the ABS system weighs 11kg (1 1/2 stone!!) and requires a massive underseat tray... it was quite hard to find what I wanted without ABS!! I don't think they are true HRC bikes but were assembled in the general factory albeit with a bit more attention to details, I have had CB1100R's in the olden days and loved them to bits, hoping to fall for the SP!!

    Nup, can't do that. I have a psychological disposition against severe climatic conditions, sometimes known as OCD. Others would just say the cranky old bastard's a wuss!:rolleyes:
