Ive just booked on for the test day on the 12th and I'm sending my entry form off and booking the garage tomorrow!

    Who else is going?

I'm thinking of going down Thursday night. Can you get into the paddock then? Was going to sleep in the van. Also any pubs nearby?

Amazing weekend at brands last weekend. I got a 14th in race 1 and 13th in race 2 then my gearbox was giving me trouble again so pulled in on lap 2or3 of race 3 :(

I got a best time of 52.4sec. Confidence on the bike is growing race by race. Just need to push on and try and tag on the back of the faster riders from the start.

Great laugh in the paddock as always with Jase, Jimbo, Cookie and Kieth. And watching the endurance from the pits was good. Proper slick operation ;) well done lads. Don't know how you did all those stints!

I stripped my gearbox yesterday T-minus 4 weeks til Silverstone:)

struggling to get into 4th gear. Second time I've had the box out now. And the gears are a lot more shiney and rounded than before. Goes to show very small tolerances in there. I thought they were alright.

Friday and Saturday it was spot on!?!?

Not got the consistency though. I tried to tag onto jay but he was in the distance within a couple of laps!

I know what I can improve on next time. Bit gutted there's no test day at silverstone.

You are improving every round James just keep doing what your doing and consistency just comes with practice something we all want ,

I was loosing a second a lap on the last right hander as just couldn't get it right then kept hitting a bump as I was getting on the power which was making it hard to change up gear really need to get on race shift as that would of helped.

Race shift made a huge diff to me! So easy getting on power was getting mega drive out of clearways.... And easy to learn too :D

James mate your times are wicked, not easy to get right and considering your times from start of season to never being at brands before I think you done mega....

More you do the more consistent you'll get and push on a bit! But you are doing it the right way imo and taking your time, enjoying it and getting out there racing!! Well done mate....;)

    Cheers jay.

That last corner was hard to get right. How would race shift help on a right corner? I thought it helped with left corners.

    Cheers Jimbo.

The Indy is a great little track! I loved it.
Bemsee have got a round there but on the GP circuit! It's when No Limits are at Cadwell though. Decisions, decisions :)

How's the collarbone? Is Silverstone doable?

I'm really tempted to do the GP. I'll get Silverstone out the way first.

You'll be back before you know it. If the pro's can come back so quick after a break, you will.

I can't use race shift. Can't get my head round it. I'm happy with normal just like biaggi. First time if actually liked brands actually. Took my mate on my lines little while ago and then he kept up with me nearly after that. Could try that with u if we ever out together or get someone else to go slower then build up slowly. It wiporjked for my mate. Really hard to get a perfect lap anywhere just takes lots of goin round. ( don't just turn up for one day and hope to win everything lol )

That'll be great Scott! I'm thinking of doing a trackday at Cadwell on the 6th July. Or if there's a trackday at Silverstone before the race.

James all I do is like what we done when all four went out....

Try and go out behind guys who are a bit quicker than you... It's amazing how much you learn in the three laps or so you try and stay with them!

Bit of tuition maybe and keeping up the racing and times will just keep coming down mate.
