No penalty if you're a top Moto GP rider then?

    I noticed in practice that Rossi did a full lap crossing the racing line on several occasions with a blown smoking engine and Marquez impeded Rins in qualifying yet no penalties given to either rider.
    On a positive note Sam Lowes was consistent again today!

    Rossi's bike did not drop any oil, and there is a possibility he did not see the smoke as it was behind him. Yes, he could have gotten off track more efficiently, but there was no oil dropped, so no foul.

    As we all know, Marquez can do no wrong.

    Huh? Might I remind you about his being sent to the back of the grid after turning his bike around on the grid? (Argentina 2018);)

    That was so blatant they had to penalize him.
