Oh yes ! And on only the 6th ride since the TT legends paint scheme was done. Two female pheasants, one hit the screen and nose cone and the other hit my new helmet and cracked my visor. Lucky really it wasn't worse.

At least I have been able to fit my spare screen and can still ride it ok.

Oh and it shit all over my jacket and the tank.

    That can't be good.
I once had a blackbird explode when it hit my mirror at well over three figure speed. Blood and guts all over my helmet and visor, and it stank.
I had to pull over and clean my helmet in a ditch to try and get rid of the smell.
Luckily, unlike you, the bike came out best with no damage.

Yep it was a real bummer !

Revenge is a dish best served hot and smelly ! Guess the pheasants got some revenge, as well as the cost !

I am going to eat as many pheasants as possible, last time it was two deer that cost me £800, respray of nose cone is about £200, visor £45 and the nose cone ? Maybe a new one at £300.....and my excess is £800.

TBH I was lucky, I managed to get most of the impact from one bird on the helmet, the other little shit hit the fairing and screen. Unfortunately no ditch nearby and I had to wait to get home to wash the crap off.......could have been worse though. Same road as I got hit by two deer......maybe a change of routes is in order.....a third time might be unlucky haha
