Nose Cone Removal 09 Blade

    I don't think it possible without removing the side fairings unfortunately.

    Oh and yes it is a bugger to get the nose cone off. Can easily take an hour. :(

    There's nothing hard in it to be honest. Just take your time and make sure you don't crack anything.

    Once you do it the one time you'll be able to do it again no probs.

    thats the first positive thing iv heard about the panel removal...

    Got me up and to the garage.. looked the the bike, looked at the tool box, looked at the bike, looked at the tool box..and went back in the house..

    ITS COLD! lol

    Try to get some heat in there, the panels don't like to be levered around if they are cold, can crack!

    I was going to mention warming up the garage - plus you need some good lights to see all the little screws and trim fixings. It's a bugger trying to see things out of natural day light.

    I have removed the side panels.. According to the YouTube video - I should have had 2 hoses going from under the light into the left and right panel...? I did not have these on my blade?

    Anyone know why?

    Also odd the nose cone is only held on my the screws that are on the screen...(not removed mine yet)

    Sounds like the flapper mod has been done, guessing your not the first owner?
