    thanks to you two.

Ok time to come clean, nothing as good as new rear sets!
    imagine this....

you get in after a shopping day :( and you need a little unwind, so obviously you go for the cbr, for a quick sneak out for an hour.
Get your gear on rush out back to take off disc lock, start her up then wheel her backwards out of the bike tent....KERRRCLUNKKKK!! **engine stops**

    WTF!!

then it dawns on me...some silly twat (me) decided to put another lock on as it was going to be left for a few days.
I didn't put it through the usual place (pillion pegs)

    norm lock.jpg

It wouldn't reach as the cable was too short so i put it here....duh!

I know..bloody useless, but I was tired in my defence.

Well if you forget and wheel it back with lock on you bend the rod, which clunks the gears and stops engine.

I shit myself as I thought the engine had locked until my stupidity dawned on me.

Can't help with a new rod, but print this out and stick to the inside of your visor as a reminder!

Also zippy when making a bracket for my heat shield I hacksawed through the rear peg in about 2 mins with a blunt blade! Sawing that off wouldn't stop the bike being ridden either so I would re think that one mate.

Oh and before I forget WHAT A NUMPTY!
