We were still using Moggy 1000's and mark 1 Escorts and traffic cars were the Mark 1 Consul Granada

The All aggro is a bit too modern ;)

Didn't know they had Moggy 1000's!!
It was the family car when we were kids, proper workhorse it was. Only vrm I can still remember DNU 585G :)

Ploughed thru the winter snows & did thousands of miles up & down the country for years.
Proudly handed over to my brother on passing his test....subsequently lasted about 2 months when an attempted donut in the village square whilst crammed with his mates went spectacularly wrong...:D

Some forces used 850 Mini's (the original) or the Mini van. Then we had vehicles such as the Hillman Avenger, Morris Marina (Horrible vehicle) but fortunately I was on Traffic within 6 months of finishing my probation so the quality of car I drove improved very quickly early in my service :) Jags and Granda's (The proper Mk1)
