Yeah, I know, I just can't afford a large outlay of multiple hundreds yet, because I am compensating by buying a BUNCH of smaller bits one by one... ;)

I want it to have the Akro carbon, and will defo want to get a Power Commander at same time, so hopefully I will get a used good condition one in a few months...

Good advice though mate, Thanks!! It's duly noted, and in the future plans...

    Update... Levers, Cowl and Can...

Then I got a used Seat Cowl, and had to buy a few of the rubber bits for a tight fit, as well as the scratch protection, which I cut into tiny strips, as I already knew where to put them by the lack of paint!!

I used the leftover scratch protection (I think it is like Venture Shield, just a small bit of it) to put on the right side of the swingarm, as my Sidi boots have been marking the swingarm a bit, but then it looked really shiny so I covered that up with an Arai sticker...

I got ASV levers from Stevebetts (thanks Steve!!), and they are lovely!!! Lots of adjustability, and very smooth action...

And I got a Scorpion Can and heat shield from 1000rr73 (thanks Brad!!)
There was a protruding bolt under the heat shield from an overzealous MOT tester of Brad's going over a speed bump. Because it was bent I could not adjust the positioning of the heat shield, so it does not fit perfectly... YET!! First ride, I solved the problem by going over a speed bump of my own which just forcibly removed the offending bolt. No bent Bolt, no problem!!! ;) So this weekend I will try to get the heat shield to line up and fit perfectly, as now I should be able to slide it backwards a bit...

The Scorpion is great!! It is a deep rumble, and pretty loud on low revs, though mid range seems quieter, strangely... It burbles a bit on cracked throttle, but no effect on the smoothness of the power delivery, and sounds awesome on full chat!!!

I have a PC3 from Damodici (originally 1000rr73's) so it already has a Scorpion map on it, but will wait til my 12K service at the dealer's and install the PC3 afterwards, to maintain my warranty. Any problems, out she comes...

Yeah, it's not an Akra, or Yoshi, but cheap and cheerful and London traffic hears me coming a bit better, and I think it sounds lovely!!!

So here she is of today...

Not much to go again, just install the PC3 after the 12K service, and then get a Honda high Screen, and a E-Seat and i am good to go!!!!

EDIT - Oh and some Sato Street Hooks, of course!!

I had to email myself from my iphone, as my Photobucket app on iphone does not upload anymore... and I am at work so can't upload to the Mac...

So I had to save the photo to hard drive, upload to my Photobucket account, then copy the IMG code, and paste the IMG code in your thread... and voila!!

EDIT - Trev, your sig says you have AVS levers... Is that supposed to read ASV??

Old tribo is on the seat in the store room, so whenever I take the Mrs pillion, I just have to change the seat, easy peasy!!
