Dare say it'll need to be restricted for insurance purposes, will be on the ECU now I dare say on the new ones.
@D16PJM Took a bit of finding in the photo albums, my white 74 and my mates red 78, scanned from photos, this would have been around 1979-80 I guess
Don't look like it, my ones road tax was last due 1985 and my mates 1994, so reckon the tin worm got them like most others suffered. 12-15 years was about the limit for a lot of cars in those days rust wise.
Agree. Britain has lost a lot of good cars to the breakers because of rust. There were a hep of 'minor' manufacturers who released limited models that would be revered by many now. One I recently learnt of was by Reliant, more famed for its 3-wheeled 'Robin'. But Reliant had a real gem (in my opinion) with its 'Sabre'. Reckon I'd sell a Blade for one of those. PS. But not the 2018. https://classics.honestjohn.co.uk/reviews/reliant/sabre/
I had a scimitar 3ltr V6, wasn't a bad car but the build quality wasn't up to much, nice to drive, if my laptop had not died I may of had a picture or two
