Interesting read, makes you wonder, there are so many bikes now that wont make noise test limits even with OE cans, shame a race track has to have quite race bikes on it in order to keep a few people who bought near a bloody race track quite !!!!

But I dont think it would put me off getting one for the road like suggested in the thread, there are always euro days to go on :)

A baffle that only takes 2 decibels is pretty crap though. A good one will get at least 5, but even then, at 109dB, you're restricted to 'loud' 105dB days. It's the way it is though now, and Oulton is amongst the strictest. :(

Its just total madness. too loud for a "race track" but legal to ride on the queens highways. we are governed by complete idiots

There's government training coming to the surface there.

That 1199 is a bit of a shock though. Abv had to hit his 'Blade with an entire autobahn to make it look like that.

Ha ha, was having this discussion on twatter shortly before release, one good smack on the shock mount area and its a
    Right off.

Let's then remember the 5 engines the BSB boys have been through, the 2 SA panigale motors and the euro stocks
Lads that have popped 9 already.

Mate, moto rapido had one go bang big time after 3 laps at the brands pre season test, both TT21 & polita have had one go bang and 2 others (sstk). They should have saved there money and built themselves a full fat 916 with 1198 motor.
