Yes. My concern is that with cutting the bottom edge of the seat, it has lost its structural integrity, so a passenger's safety could be at risk. Just thinking 'worst case' scenario here, but for my mind, one doesn't cut a purposely moulded seat to overcome a latch problem. The other point is that if a prudent MoT inspector saw it it could be an immediate fail.
