    Looks like Dani's away.

    Wonder who'll replace him?

Hope he stays in MotoGP. Seems like a very likeable guy and is blisteringly fast on his day.

Don’t dislike the bloke at all. But how he has kept his seat on a factory Repsol for 12 years is beyond me.

I do like him as he just gets on with it, no dramas and if he had a bit less bad luck would have won the title. Read earlier that only Rossi and Agostino have had nore podiums.

At the same time I have wondered, vocally at times, why Honda/Repsol kept him so long, and the answer seems to be that he is a brilliant person to have as the number 2 rider in the team.

Despite my earlier attempt at a joke I can't see Mrs Marquez being a good option for Honda. Yes he is Spanish and so Repsol will want him for that, but he won't make a good No 2 rider, and prehaps more importantly the Honda isn't the right bike for him. He won't like the front end, especially in the wet, and he really won't like the number of crashes he will have to endure if he wants to be near the podium, just look at the Honda riders who do well on that bike and how often they are in the kitty litter.

Yeah and that being said if Lorenzo was to move to HRC I just can’t see how that’s a smart move.. unless Marquez really is looking to go to KTM in the future

That would be akin to Schumacher's move to Mercedes. Going from a winning team/machine to an outfit still undergoing development. Sure, Mercedes made it in the end, but Schumacher struggled in the same manner Lorenzo has struggled at Ducati.

Money, being spanish on a Repsol backed machine, seems a nice bloke, but anyone else would have been let go long ago.
