Yes. I know it's a bit over-the-top, especially considering insurances, tax and MoTs, but the MV and RR4 are really special (but by no means rare) and the 2011 is what I term my main bike or daily (dry) ride.

Perhaps one could equate it with a polygamous marriage; would you dare sacrifice one of your wives?

    There's your answer!!:D:D

Very, umm, industrial. I think we'd all agree that all pics are good. There's always ideas and tips to sneak from others' bikes.

There is a certain 'meanness' about matte black. I wasn't in favour at first, but when they're clean they really stand out. The red accents help set it off also.

If you check my front forks, you'll note my 'delete reflectors' option.:D I hate them! I left strict instructions with the dealer to leave them off. (For interest, these are not an MoT item in UK. Legislation requires only rear reflector.)

I swung between the gloss and the matte schemes a number of times. The thing that did it was the £500 less for the bike he'd got in stock, rather than him ordering another one with the 2018 price rise.

I'm not keen on the reflectors, but I'm a serial px'er, so I couldn't be asked to take them off. :)

Considering you've been on your hands and knees with a hair dryer drying the drive way so you can wheel the bike out......it certainly looks like you've had her cranked over a bit looking at that back tyre!!! Unless you've had the sand paper out while staring at it in the lounge? ? ;)

No Paul, no sandpaper because there's too many eyes that would spring me on this forum;).

Truth is, the bike sits like a dream, and sticks! It feels so much lighter and predictable than my 2011, but to be fair, the new one has Super Corsas, which, as you're a budding tyre tester;), you will know are a very soft compound.

The final equation, again as you already know, is that the bike is an HRC, and they hang where Repsols and Matte Black could only dream of hanging! :D:D

I'm only jealous Nigel.......my New Metzelers still have two inch chicken strips on them which I'm desperate to scrub off over the next few weeks before my track day, although I'm in no doubt I'll be leaving the track with zero chicken strips......just don't fancy turning up with two inch one's !! o_O

Not that it matters what anyone else thinks of course! ;)

I had Supercorsa's on my RSV, great tyres in the dry, take a bit to warm up on the road though!

Nice shots, Hashy. Good photographer too.

I think I recall you putting the Akrapovic on just recently. Do you reckon it's louder or quieter than the standard can? Only reason for asking is that I've read some of Akra's promos saying that it's quieter because OEMs are failing decibel tests at some UK tracks.

    Cheers bro,

The Akra full system with baffles removed is significantly louder than stock. Specially on idle and cold start its damn loud. Top end is just beautiful. Its not stupidly loud like the SC project but has a nice tone and good enough for me. Any louder and it will be annoying.

That is a magic SP, Chris. 2017 or 2018? Looks like pro paint job because of the Red Bull insignia over the frame.

Your avatar with the Hong Kong flag has thrown me because the bike looks like a special built by Vertu Honda or Crescent Honda. Also, Hormann garage doors are British.

    Absolutely Beautiful !

Did you paint the original fairings in this design ? Or is it wrapped ? Or did you buy custom aftermarket fairings ?

I have been wanting to do the same but not sure the best way to approach it. Some advice would be great :)

Here some nice snaps of my blade from a few weeks ago

I seem to remember a number of owners getting scorpion exhausts but no pictures yet. I'm tempted but only if it doesn't mess up low down fueling. The Ron Haslam school fitted them as they are quieter than the standard I presume that's baffle in. Any feedback would be appreciated before I take the plunge.

The bike is in Uk! Purchased from Grantham Honda, they helped link me up with a great paint specialist who hand painted the design from wsbk photos I provided. Then racefit sort of custom made the pipe etching the red bull on it and putting the titanium gauze on the end!

Here you go. I only fitted it at the weekend but initial impressions are that the fuelling is fine. I'm no expert though and I come from a VFR that was terrible on/off throttle. I'm running it with the baffle out. It's pretty loud. :)
