Because of the way my fairings have been done at the front I'm having problems getting the number 53 to fit so the way i see it i have two options unless anyone can think of other possibilities??

Option 1, phone NoLimits in the morning and see if i can change my number to a single digit but they may have all gone.

Option 2, Instead of complying with acu rules make my number 53 smaller and hope it gets past officials...

    Any thoughts??

Just make it the right size.... Slap on the number board and off you go. Feck it!! You OCD boys need to chill out ;)

Think #1 might still be free dude! ;) might as well have it this year and next :)

On a serious note, a lot of the lads on zx10'd use the screen to put the board on? Can't you roll with that?

And I've seen some proper sights in terms of numbers so don't get too hung up mate.

Thats the thing, the correct size numbers don't fit on the screen, they overlap onto the fairing and theres a big ridge, meaning the number isn't fully stuck and will rip off as soon as the wind gets behind it..

I will take a photo to show you..

Matt put it this way they don't measure the race numbers maybe trim the numbers down is a option.

If I'm honest they don't seem too fussed tbh.... But might be hot on it at start of season?

You know if you stick it on too small and chance it they will pull ya - typical. Dude, come race time you'll tattoo it on your forehead just to get on the grid so don't get too fussy with it ;)

    Send the pic over mate.

As long as it's the correct colours, clear and readable they're normally ok.

I was thinking that mate as your number must be under the required size?

    Matt, what's wrong with that?

Bang the other one on. Stand back 20 feet. It'll look fine ;)

It states in the rules that the number can't be cut, must be whole and intact. Also as soon as a fair bit of wind gets behind that it may tear off..

So using under size ones is a better play on the rules?? Lol

Mate if they are the right size but cut I'd put money on no one saying anything. Won't even notice stepped back.

Put the 3 on full then scalpel the joints, stick round, won't notice and it won't peel off I'm sure.

That would work but i can tell that number is smaller than what the rules state, i shall go with a small number and if an official pulls me i shall just stab him to death with a spanner;)
