I was wondering the other day if there is any perceptible difference in noise levels between the normal length Growler and the shorter/stubbier black edition - image links below to illustrate...

    Standard length growler:

    Black edition:

I had a black edition for a little while but ended up swapping it as it was just too noisy for my tastes, even with the NRI baffle. However my penchant for titanium and carbon has returned and I am looking at them again, and wondering if the standard length Growler is any quieter - anyone have any experience of both? If not, happy to give RaceFit call and pick their brains and post their thoughts back here...

The standard Growler is longer so in theory with more packing it should be quieter, but reckon it won't be by much! The noise reduction insert isn't bad but it needs to be slightly curved rather than straight to really cut the noise.

Best to give racefit a call, they are always happy to help!
