Little known fact: that is exactly what K-Seal was developed for... for fixing the fragile headgaskets on Rover K-series engines (hence the name!)

I've never heard that it works on radiator leaks, as I was under the impression it needs lots of heat and pressure to "set" i.e. the heat/pressure generated by a combustion chamber, not the much lower temperatures and pressures of a cooling system, hence why you can safely pour it into your cooling system to fix headgasket leaks without fear of it jamming up your water pump or thermostat.

Having said that, it's very clever stuff, so I shouldn't be too surprised it has other uses.

Gents do we know if the 2006/7 fireblade in the UK is the same spec as the USA one? I could get a rad from the states a lot cheaper.

    Thanks

Some of the new radiators advertised on ebay for example in USA are I believe the cheap chinese ones and they are very poor quality. They sometimes confuse people by using the term 'OE replacement' which makes it sound as though it is an OE one.

I have only tried one chinese rad on my RR6 but it was not a very good fit (about 15mm too short) so it was tricky to fit, I had to add a bracket. It did not last long, about 8 months before it sprung a big leak. I have nothing against chinese products usually, but there is a reason why the rads are so cheap.
