If it was on Weston beach it would be up to it's flag in mud by now.

If the local toe rags hadn't already had it up on bricks by then.

Just a hand held strobe 45/45 degrees but pointing straight up with a flash bender on to bounce the light on to my subject .

1 of these bad boys but hand held and using radio triggers , Iv using a 60cm soft box with my flash but in tight spaces Iv found this alternative pretty awesome

Right just thought it was as the skin tones and jacket neck
Looks the same as a hdr filter.
The landscape just had the look with the hue in
The sky ans slightly colour faded grass,
What editing software do you use ?

Yeah iv had a go at retouching the skin and took a bit if shadow out from under the peak of his cap . I'm still learning the skin retouching ( hard stuff )

The sky in the landscape was darkened with the exposure brush in Adobe camera Raw .

I'm using CS6 And the Nik software plug ins for photoshop .

The Skin retouching I'm learning to do in Perfect Portrait 6 ?? Or something like that , ill check the name when I get home ,it's really good

Im having real problems getting photoshop cs5 reading nef files.
tried all sorts of plugin's but it just doesnt want to play ball.
think you have the skin tone retouching bang on.
    good work
