Hi folks, I have just joined today. I have a 2009 blade(had from new) see photo, and am thinking of putting Gilles rearsets on.
My questions are (1) Do they make the ride more comfortable? i.e. legs lower down.
    (2) Are Gilles the best ones for a 2009 blade?
    (3) Are they easy to fit?
    (4) Are they better for knee down?
I don't do track days but do put my knee down.
    Thanks .
From The Great Guy in Goole.

No after market (as far as I am aware. Correct me if I'm wrong guys) rearsets lower the peg position.
What they do, do though is move them backwards, which I found helped out a huge amount in comfort and riding position.

I used to suffer sore knees after and hour or so of riding, but even with just 16mm further back I no longer had sore knees, and also found I sat better on the bike.

They can also be adjusted upwards to give more ground clearance, more so for trackdays. Hi mate welcome to the forum!

Ok. Just with abs equipped models you are very limited to what you can actually fit.

The reason aftermarket rear sets are higher up is so they give more ground clearance at high lean angles so I doubt any will be lower as they will ground the road quite easily.

gilles are very good and you would be very happy with them, I personally love the sato rear sets but never tried them. s.e.s make really good quality and are also uk based and will be £100+ cheaper than gilles
