    Hi all

Just last month bought a 2011 Repsol Fireblade.

The machine is very sweet, so thought I'd say hello and ask two quick questions

    1. The bike has Evans Waterless cooling. On a cold start first thing it has leaked a small amount of coolant. The reserve tank looks to be close to the upper mark so maybe there is just a little too much in there. Is this a normal trait?

    2. I'm keen to get a e-cushion seat. Are these worth it? Is anyone selling one right now? (sorry I can't post in wanted yet). Otherwise anyone used hondabits.co.uk as they are selling at a good price right now

    Many thanks

Hey, definitely interested. I think we may have just been chatting on eBay but happy to a deal here instead and save on eBay fees for the better price. Just want to confirm there isn't a mark on the front but if not you have a deal

Hi and welcome buddy, the gel seats are great if you do any miles.

Great. I tend to do quite a few short runs 50-100 miles but once or twice a year I'll try and get a nice long run 500miles +

On my prev bike (ZX6R) it did get pretty uncomfortable towards the end, and I have a little scuff on my current seat, which although is almost hidden is annoying me so I was thinking of either getting a new cover to match the repsol or came across the gel seat.

Luimoto do some great covers, but I don't know anyone that would be able to fit it and I don't want to make a bodge job myself so thinking the e-cushion is the way forward.

The Genuine Honda one isn't the cheapest but probably best quality.

Hi and welcome, nice bike, I do like the Repsol editions. Have been wondering about the e cushion seats myself for europe trips, I wonder how much more comfortable they are as original seems ok but not done big miles on it yet.

They are a lot better!! The standard one feel like a plank in comparison. They look a lot better too.

Welcome to the exclusive (and slightly faster) Repsol club!

I got a Powerbronze seat for mine - seems a little more comfy than standard but I doubt it's as comfy as the Honda e-cushion. It does look better tho :)

Standard seat is quite thin (and even less foam on the SP) I've got a Genuine Honda gel seat and was comfy riding over 1350 miles in two days few months ago.
