... Good quality and accurate tyre infiltrator. I have a old Michelin tyre infiltrator that I keep in the back of the car which is died. it's not accurate so want something that is. I have a Portable power pack I keep in the garage which is idea for trackdays and working at home. but I often check mum and grans cars when out as they have no idea what to do Plus checking the caravan tyres. Is there such as thing as a quality and accurate tyre infiltrator that's not going to cost mega ££££ Any ideas
My Michelin one is accurate only had it about 4 years but has stayed good in that time, you are doing a reset each time you use it aren't you? Otherwise it will be out
mines digital and now way to reset it. not that was on the model I have. But anyone it's dead so looking for something to replace it
Im a real pikey and use the garage forecourt!! having said that I do go armed with my own gauge to test....over inflate a few psi and then bring it down with the gauge
As I said as i check my mum and grans cars I really don't fancy having to take their cars every time when I could just do it as there (they live next to each other) in one go
call me lazy and I know the good old foot pump are bloody good using them years ago. But having to check 6 cars in total and a kit car I can't be arsed with foot pump any longer.
Not sure what a "tyre infiltrator" is... some sort of probing device?!? Anyway, assuming you mean pressure guage, the following may help:- Best tyre pressure gauge 2014: group test | Auto Express If you're after a pump, I've always been advised to buy any pump, as the guages on the pumps are never very accurate... and to buy a good pressure guage to check separately.
