Removing tank to install PCV... How the heck does the fuel hose come off? Some weird clip that won't release?

If it's the one with the metal clip, stick a very thin screwdriver between the clip and plastic part then prize the metal clip outwards to release the pipe.

if it's the red clip type thing, just push the 2 tabs in and lift the red centre out, then pull it off.

Was going to advise wearing safety specs while doing it, cos the fuel always seems to flick out

make sure you connect the TPS connector to the TPS and not the MAP sensor.......

nope they are the same connector only a few inches from each other!

You will know if you get it wrong when the TP% doesn't change

Well the ECM light would be flashing wouldn't it?

I've run it up to temp and sounds fine.

I don't remember any lights (when I fecked up!) but when you calibrate the throttle the voltage will not change

Just to add the engine doesn't need to be running to calibrate the throttle (unlike suzukis!)

Why would I need to calibrate throttle?

The PC needs to know the min voltage and max voltage of the TPS to calculate 0-100% throttle.

You check without having to calibrate.

plug in the PC usb to a laptop with the bike ignition on. The DJ software should read 0% with zero throttle and only 100% when you give it the full beans. If it reaches 100% before full twist or doesn't reach 100% you need to calibrate

Plug your laptop into PC with software and roll throttle on ? Is this correct ?
