Hi all new member from Halesowen in the wmids...got a question about tyres...I'm thinking of getting a set of pirelli Rosso Corsa,s..fora 2013 blade.....the s20 that come as standard seem to be wearing out to easy, second set 5000 miles done,. Is this a good choice ??..Anyone got them fitted or could suggest a longer wearing tyre ..many thanks ..weave
Welcome to the forum, most of the guys here are raving about Michelin pr4's I've had pilot pures in the past and got 5000 miles out of them and that's their sports tyre let alone their sport touring tyre
Welcome fella Depends what you want from your tyres really. If you ride all year round and want a bit of longevity from you're tyres, then maybe some Michelin PR4's or Metzeler M7RR's would be the way to go. If you're a fair weather rider then maybe something stickier Rosso Corsa's, S20's or Sportec M3 or equivalent.
Thanks for info all ...I ride pretty hard and mostly in dry conditions my commute includes a motorway stretch which can really square off the S20, s ....so looking for long life and performance. ...cheers weave
welcome to the forum mate, Only done a 1000 miles on my PR4 so far but still looks like new. Im very impressed and have heard good things about mileage
Hi Bud, Welcome. You'll not get galactic mileage from Rosso corsa but they stick like sticky stuff, and not too bad in the wet. PR 4's are great, but I'm trying the Mez next, sound like a step forward to me. Mike.
Hi and welcome Just started using the M7,awesome tyre. Great levels of grip in all conditions,this could be the only tyre you'd need for road use,time will tell how long it lasts but I have high expectations.
