I intend to fully convert my rr6 this wwinter to a track bike lock stock and barrell. My first question is. Im gonna purchase track fairings from a46 lincs, are they any good. Is it straight forward to bin the headlamp unit and all the shit in the nose fairing but keep the wiring to keep the original dash/ clocks. There will be many more questions to follow i,m sure. Many thanx

When you say lock stock? Take it you mean suspension etc? What spec is yours mate?? Might be worth selling and buying a decent one done already? Get far more value for money.

I spent a fortune converting mine tbh and still needs stuff on it....

A16 road and race you mean? If so they are decent IMO. And good value for money.

Don't know about rr6 but would imagine just unplug the loom like the 08 onwards....

Shame it's not an RR4/5 as I have the track fairings from my RR5 road bike now spare as I've bought an RR6 track bike and don't yet know if the RR4/5 fairings will fit.

Re the lights/loom etc. You'll have to keep the loom intact as the wiring for all the lights routes from the dash wiring. You can remove the nose fairing complete with headlight, but will have to remove the tilt sensor and make a bracket to mount it below the clocks, an easy enough job.
