Going to see a mate for a bbq tomorrow and riding from Twickenham to Bicester (and back). Anyone recommend any decent roads through the Chilterns etc? Don't often head out that way on the bike, and I refuse to sit on the M40 for an hour and a half.
unfortunately no matter which way you go, you'll be hit with road closures, road works and day dreaming idiots. Stick with M40/ A40 and once in bicester, enjoy the local ride. You could go via M4 then north through Oxford. Not sure if it is better. great day for bbq!
