RR7 end can and stubby levers

    Hi,
    anyone selling or know where I can get a reasonable end can (yoshimura, leo vince, akra) and some stubby levers (asv etc) no chinese crap

    I have a cracking good akrapovic end can carbon hex type with carbon tip. £300

    I suspect they are what you’re calling Chinese crap, don’t know I’m afraid, a mate of mine in the trade got them for me, quality seems good, nice action on the span adjustment
    They look very similar to the ones that sell for over £40 on eBay and they are new

    Hi Nigel,
    they look good :) I tried a pair of copies once, just the once! ended up with the front brake gradually binding on not a mile from the door! stripped the lever off let the brakes cool and rode home. should’ve known better really! put the standards back on and been to IOM with no issues at all. I normally have the mindset but quality and buy once so now I have a pair of useless levers (clutch was fine) and still want more lol

    If the brake binds it’s because the port in the master cylinder isn’t being opened, dressing a little off the lever where it contacts the piston will sort it

    Fair enough Dan, and that might just be a difference between budget and ASV.

    It just goes to show that not all things that look good are equally functional. I know, because I had a wife with similar characteristics.:):)

    You should always check any parts you bolt on are functioning as they should, to assume makes an ass of u and me
