Or you set yourself up in business where you need an rsvr for transport and you can claim the vat back and write off against any profits in the year.

That is rather naughty of them. I believe that if a business is primarily selling to the public then they have to show it with the price including VAT.

Prices in advertisements, catalogues and price lists
Products advertised in outlets, magazines, on the Internet, or shown in catalogues, price lists and other literature may be aimed at the consumer, businesses, or both. If they're only meant for the general public, they'll show you a price including VAT. This is a legal requirement.
If they're aimed at both consumers and businesses, they will usually show a VAT inclusive price, but may also show a price without VAT. The VAT inclusive price must be given equal prominence, but read carefully to make absolutely certain you understand what price you'll pay.
Prices aimed only at businesses are usually shown with no VAT included. VAT will be charged on top of the price shown.

I think the first one you put up is a genuine price of £10999

yes looks that way Steve.. Bloody bargain that! Wouldn't ever want to spend more than 11K on a new bike and they will never be that price again will they as keep getting more & more expensive each year. Really is quite tempting for that money!

    quick lets crunch some numbers!

I've ridden 1 and they are fantastic bikes. Parts and reliability woes for me put me off.

If it wasn't for that I reckon I'd have bought 1 last year. The engine and handling are amazing

Wouldn't be quite such an issue as a second bike I guess.. But hear what your saying, dont want an 11k bike off the road waiting for replacement parts!

Anyway crunched some numbers and still to expensive LOL

Big dealer between Aylesbury and Bicester as far as I remember

That is one heck of a lot of tech for £11k

Yes RC8 was just over 10k winter before last, exact same bike (minus slipper clutch) that's being sold new now for 13k. Shame there's no more updates to the rc8 as always liked them :(

But yes under 11k for an RCV.. Jim to late to cancel that blade order ??
