    Hey

CBR929 - Clutch had MASSIVE failure on Monday and ground itself to oblivion, springs snapping, etc.

I have/going to remove side casing and clear out crap, remove sump and clear out, remove clutch. Apparently there is an oil pump and strainer in there to that I need to clean/inspect.

What I'd like to do is refit the sump and side cover with fresh oil and filter but no clutch installed and run the engine for 15 minutes or so to clear everything out.

I'll then throw oil/filter in bin, clear out sump, pump, strainer etc, fit a replacement clutch and refil with fresh oil/filter.

Question is, is there any issue with running the engine with no clutch installed? Does it poser the oil pump in some way? Or anything else?

    Cheers

    CR
