As others have said the techno bits, suspension wheels are great, however the general looks do not make me go wow !!. the 1098r did.
That R is a beast!! When you think the desmo's make at best 174bhp with the race pipe to get 200 at the wheel you need gas flow, PCV and cam work etc JHP did the full works and I think ran near £100,000 inc full factory electronics they got 217bhp at the wheel from one:- JHP Projects - Ducati Coventry - West Midlands Motorcycle Dealership my point is you can get a smidge over 200 from an R with Hi comp pistons, cams dialing, crank bal and a remap! Rich's bike has pistal pistons and should have been a 200bhp bike at the wheel.! but with around 120ft-lb of grunt!!! when you think a blade is 80! I guess with the desmo my question has always been what sort of blade can you build for 40k! You can have 200bhp no problem from a blade and the suss and wheels plus more for that money, the problem is engine refresh often runs into hours or around 1500 miles when output is so high, however you would have near a BSB spec bike and you can bet it would be awsome.. Talking of the desmo engine how about 200bhp at the wheel and a dry 145kg!!! http://www.ncrfactory.com/eng/html/23.00.shtml Not my cup of tea but I'd have those CMC discs for my BST's...lol
They are FGR900's and cost around £11,000.00 they do not fit ANY stock yokes so you have to have them made.. http://www.ohlins.com/test_ny_artikel/RoadTrack-Motorcycle/FGR900/
