Seized Screws

    Hi people,having just got some Gilles Vario bars thought i might look at taking the clip-ons off or loosening everything off but the switch screws are not moving at all,would it be easier to get them out when i remove the standard clip-ons or keep trying with them in place,any ideas would be a great help.

    Are you using a JIS screwdriver? If you haven't got one then I think a PZ2 is the closest match to the JIS.

    deffo dont use a PH, it has a cam that will slip at high torques and screw-up your head

    just got a PZ2 from screwfix,they still won't budge think i might just have to take the clip ons off then butcher them off and get replacements
