Hi all,as we were re-assembling the motor on my sons RR5 this evening after fitting new main bearing shells there was a loud "crack" when tightening the gear cassette we removed the assembly and found a piece of gearbox selector drum broken off. After studying what may have happened we could see that the shaft carrying the single selector fork obviously had not lined up and when tightening the cassette the selector fork had broken a piece out of the selector drum, question is does anyone have a selector drum knocking about looking for a good home. We have been building the motor on the bench, at the time the engine was upside down which possibly contributed to the shaft not aligning.
