Bloody Italians! What bright spark dreamed up this:

On our Blades we have the 'A' and 'B' buttons for dashboard functions. My MV has only one button. I was pressing away, holding for a few seconds, double pressing and all manner of finger numbing computations. Went to online MV manual and found that to set/activate trip meter, engine must be running and then hold the STARTER MOTOR BUTTON for four seconds to scroll through odometer and trip functions. All I can say is WTF?

Have you got a rear stand for your mv?

    Yes, thanks very much.

Previous owner included a R & G copy of the original MV through the spindle stand. Plus, I have an ABBA which I bought for the Blade, but have since purchased the MV Fitting Kit and Spindle Adaptor.

Did you used to have one, or is it excess from your Aprilia?

Cheers, Cbrjay. The MV is a great bike, but nowhere near as comfortable as the Blade. Even with its adjustable footpegs, I am still cramped and I'm only 5'9". Still, it's not as if I'm going to Land's End or London on it.:)
