My first choice would have been A Daijiro Kato replica, loved that paint scheme for so many years but at 700 quid plus, it was a bit steep! At 399 for the Bradley Smith rep I thought was a bargain......forget who's rep it is, it's an X Spirit 3 for nearly half the price. I personally love the shape of this lid as well, paint scheme matches my new bike too.....not normally one who likes to be matchy matchy but @nigelrb Will be impressed!;):D

Big ticket item, but might be worth it. I'm more in the budget range; I have 3 AGV K3s - different colours of course;).

£800 though? For an extra £200 you could have had two baby aprilias:D.

@Wozza , remember that Paulo has a Puig screen that might give a different aero effect (as in buffeting the helmet) than your standard (as I recall) screen. :)

I actually don't have a Puig screen. I have a standard screen and part of the paint job goes across the lower part of the screen.

So for that reason it's unlikely I'll change it. I do have a Puig tank protector which is what you may be confused with?

The x spirit 3 has anti buffeting wind deflectors which apparently really work well to keep your head stable at high speeds so if I ever reach any high speeds I'll let you know how the helmet performs!;)

The vents on it look easy and effective on it as well like the way it sits higher on the back of the neck and great vision out...

Yeah, sorry, I knew about the clear tank pad. I was confused after reading your wishlist of options/mods - financed of course by timely birthdays!!;)

Now I could be wrong and I don’t want to upset anyone
But I really do not like helmets with the stupid fold down air flaps
Much prefer vent holes with a hidden flap like the AGV K3-SV

I can’t find a picture to explain what I mean and I stand corrected if I have got it wrong.
I sure that some shoei’s I have seen have got what look like a cheap looking air vent

    This vent you mean then...
Shoei vents are spot on...I think the shoeis are the only lids I've ever had that have been bomb proof for bits breaking or falling off!
