OK I'm out of contract with BT. BT can't for the foreseeable future provide me with a 4K broadband line. Although I do have access to B4RN (Broadband for the Rural North), which is fibre to the house. It's not set up yet but it'll cost £150 for them to install and provide the equipment. It is a fibre connection to the house. Then it's £30 a month for super fast fibre broadband and VOIP telephone. BUT I will lose BT sport etc. On the other I can get a multitude of SKY TV packages for various monthly amounts. But I was wondering about the 4K side of things. I I want to watch a 4K program on Sky TV, is that 4K program delivered via the broadband connection (as BT would) or is it delivered via the satellite?
It's only the Sky Q main box that supports 4k. The mini boxes that connect to the main box to give you multiroom are only HD.
