Rob the optimate lead from battery goes to under the pillion seat, then plugged optimate to usb converter connector in, then usb to 4 type connector lead in, then that plugs into the phone. Or were you taking the piss ?

very cool indeed, nice little solution there. My phone normally lasts the day fine if its just being used as a phone.. Start doing satnav or games and forget it!!

Cheers pal, thought I'd share that with folk on here , how many times I forget to charge me phone up before I go out biking all day, just ordered a new shorter usb cable tho as That long one coiled up played havoc with my OCD lol.
Also ordered a neoprene drawstring pouch to put said phone in while charging. Lmfao

That's about the price you pay mate. I'm sure Oxford hold the pricing at that.

I just got one of those ! I put the main unit under the rider's seat and ran the black female USB lead up to the front of the tank. I can now charge my phone inside my tank bag and or directly power my Drift Ghost camera while on the run !

Do make sure you wrap your phone in something soft and durable if you are going to keep it under the pillion seat. The vibrations in there are astonishing!

Got from M and P as I couldn't find many places selling it, found the odd one ont ebay but from abroad so I was a bit reluctant. £25 from m and p the usb to phone leads were about £3 ont ebay. Just got single seat pod so more room under there for it all. I get it now rob, wondered what you were on about lol

Forgot to mention there are 2 different types of these usb connectors depending on which type of optimate lead you have connected to the bike ,
Good thing is the connector shuts off if the battery voltage drops below 12.4 volts , so you shouldn't be able to flatten your battery.by leaving summat charging forever more

Ya wanna make sure that Bags Waterproof if you go Touring or out in the rain!

The underseat area gets piss wet through when it rains, proper Piss Poor design from Honda that!

    Could be matey?

I've just noticed that anytime I've been riding in the wet it's also wet under the seat area also, could be due to the R&G Tailtidy though to be fair?
