I like my watches, but I tend to spend most of my money on the bike these days, I have a nice TAG watch at the minute.

Same here on the Seiko for me. This is kinda my point. Looks half decent. Keeps accurate time. I wouldn't cry if I smashed the thing and all for £200.

Can't beat a NATO strap, although I'd cry if I damaged mine...;)

    Very comfy they are.

And yes I'd cry if I damaged that. That's why I can't bring myself to get one :D

These threads always seem a bit pointless. Its the same as anything

You could use any bike to get from A to B, the real difference in speed is marginal. Why waste money on the bike you have when a scooter would do the same thing. Why buy a fast car when a slow car still does the job? Why buy titanium bolts when a basic alloy bolt works just as well. Why buy a Repsol blade when you can buy a normal, cheaper one? Why buy a nice house when a rubbish one might do? on and on

Because we're all different and like different things. Life would be boring otherwise. We all need our toys/interests

they are NEVER pointless. finding out what others like or dislike brings people together. much like forums so you find like minded people close to you to make friendships with

I did till a couple of years ago and the battery cover somehow worked loose and let water in..

    I have these now
    Watches.jpg
The one on the left is the issued replacement for my G10, it's getting slowly ruined by wearing it for work and actually quite expensive to buy, had it about 10 years, keeps good time and has H3 tritium markers..
The one on the right is one I bought for myself as an upgrade to my issue watch
German special forces, solid titanium billet, sapphire crystal glass and very bright H3 markers, wasn't at all cheap and still looks good after 8 years, though doesn't get worn for work but is rarely off my wrist and I feel lost when not wearing either watch as I've always worn one since I was a kid....a long long time ago....
