    Hi guys

I’ve got to shorten a 530 chain down from 120 links down to 116, is it as simple and obvious as just counting 8 pin holes back and removing the pin at the 8th hole or is it the 7th hole ?

Sorry if it seems obvious I just want to be 100 sure :)

Yes there is an extra rivet link included in another bag with the new chain.

If you have a 120 link kit the chain will have 119 + the extra rivet, so you should only need to remove 4 side plates.

The sure fire way is to count 115 side plates and break at the end of the 115 side plate
