Just reading from the NLR site the garages are only booked for the 25/26th and not the test day so you can use whichever garage you want
Far too north for me. And too cold. Not ride a bike for so long think Iv lost the buzz a bit. Be good to get a track day and use it. See if it's as fun. Tired of spending all my money and so much hassle to get so little out of it
Sounds like a bet that! Seems like we're not racing on the full circuit then. Anyone done the shorter one? I think there's a right handed after cascades?
I rode it on Tuesday James. Think it's the short circuit until end of March. It's not dissimilar to the hairpin at Donny just before start/finish. There's no camber, it's a little bumpy and it's a decreasing radius. Struggled a little finding my braking point, but then I am used to charging through there at around 130/140! I'm sure it'll create some heroic overtakes. The organiser did say someone had forgotten about it on a trackday and carried straight on into the crash barrier on a previous trackday!!
What was good in regards to laptimes sir?? I havent been there in 2 years so could do with a reference really
Sorry young Mark, wasn't taking any notice of times, weather was a bit shitty and I'd a new slipper clutch and various other bits to try out. Taz Mackenzie seemed to be going quite well!
It will be a good un! I reckon it's 2 year since last time I went Oulton. How far down th straight is the right hander?
Not going to know that till some of the fast guy's put some times down. I will take my lap timer but not sure if it will work with the new configuration. Its bollox that they can't get the full circuit open, really spoilt it for me as i would have finally seen how quick i could go round there and the was my favourite part of the track....
I'm a bit gutted we ain't using the full track but it'll still be a great weekend on the bike as always!
Riding in the wet is actually really rewarding once you relax. Always people come flying past though!!
