Stormin the castle

    This is my homemade touring rack, which is fastened to the rear passenger seat and strapped to the pegs.

    Weekend camping at a biker festival, had plenty room to spare. Even managed a few beers in the side panniers.

    I'm impressed!! How much did it all weigh? And lastly can you see behind you,you may need touring mirrors:p

    dont now about stormin the castle think your taking the castle dont forget the wide load sign on the back :eek:

    Its the same as having a passenger, can load it with luggage of your choice. Still use the mirrors fine, side panniers were strapped in tight before I left. The idea came from my brother, for one of his trips to the TT few years back. Wanted to get to his digs and the do the coarse on his R1 without any luggage or stuff. So now he can undo the straps, lift of the rack, either complete takes 2 people or take the bags of and do it yourself. Pop on your seat pod and enjoy the rest of the week as normal.
