Just had my Suspension Set-up by Steve at Peak Performance in Exeter. Wow........ That must be the best £50 i've ever spent on the bike...The best Mod ever!... The differnce is like night and day... he also recommeneded running 36/36 tyre pressures in the summer and 36/39 in the winter. I'm now running 36/36 and it just feels planted, so yes i'm well happy. I agree, I had mine set up last September by JHS racing in Bath £34.99. Best mod to do to a bike, also recommended 36/36.
Yep defiantly a great mod I've had mine done last year by a forum member who knows his stuff , I run 36 42 as recommend in the handbook so will have to try the 36 36
Martin if your looking for yours to be done. Mike Dawson at md racing is a short blast up motorway for you. Bloke knows his stuff - Ducati specialist ex bsb and wsb mechanic. £50 quid well spent mate
I haven't done mine yet. Its still at its stock settings. I weigh around 13 stones with all my gear on. What pre load settings are folk using for similar weight riders?
Will be amazed - personally I struggle to tell why it's better, you just know it is within minutes if leaving his yard....
With that and the Ohlins I'm hoping to see some big improvements and hopefully get over my confidence issues from my crash a bit
Defo! Best £50 you can spend on a bike.... Couldn't believe how good mine felt 1st time I had mine done
Is 36/36 not for the track? What about tyre wear? I'm thinking about taking my bike to ERSRacing up at Knockhill but it's £90 including vat to get a suspension set up!!. and you don't get to go on track or new fork internals or cuppa tea for that! Greedy feckers?
