Had a Woman come into the shop today, she lives just by the St Gotthard pass (lucky git) and she says the Swiss Vignette (motorway road tax) is going up to 100 swiss franc from 40 francs this year (£70!) So, keep an eye on it if you are using the Swiss motorways if the passes are closed ( the tunnels etc) as it's a fair bit of cash to use the roads. On the upside, she is keeping in touch regarding the opening of passes and weather situations from april onwards in exchange for a glass of wine when we stay over in Davos in May.
