When I bought my 06 Blade I had charging problems which I knew nothing about until I had problems last year.
My symptoms were the feeling of a flutter in the engine especially under 4k revs and the feeling that the throttle response wasn't as good which I am led to believe is due to the power required to run the ECU and the injectors.
I do not understand why the 06 stator has issues even after I have gone to the newer type MOSFET Regulator/Rectifier as my understanding is that the clearance between stator and rotor has been increased and the magnets have been reduced in strength on the 06/07 from the problems that the 04/05 models have.
Unfortunately I feel that my charging issues are back. The battery is less than a year old (Honda item) and my stator was rewound by West Country Windings (Not sure how long their warranty is, 6 months I think).
Can anyone please advise me of the symptoms you experienced and what I can do now.
    Best wishes
    Paul

Select dc on the multi meter

(Solid line with a broken line underneath)

Go across the battery with ignition off should have around 12v

Then start the bike and go back across it should read 13.5 to 14.5v

If it's not then you have a charging issue, poss reg rec there a common honda fault
